Our employment lawyers advise that employers and employees should be aware that with effect from October 1, 2011, we have new national minimum wage rates.

The rates are;

• £6.08 per hour for workers aged 21 and over
  
• £4.98 per hour for workers between 18 and 20
  
• £3.68 per hour for workers aged 16 and 17
